    Under broad supervision, you will be responsible for projects related to the application of tax laws and primarily tax compliance matters. You will also maintain complete and accurate tax documentation and provide recommendations.

    • Support tax activities including assisting 3rd party outsourcing team in preparation of statutory tax filings, application of tax laws and tax compliance matters. You will also maintain complete and accurate tax documentation.

    • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment and comply with Tax policies. You will also support audit activities and assist in providing information on an auditor's request

    • Perform special projects and analyses as requested.

    • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in relevant tax laws and regulations and tax compliance processes

    • BUSINESS ACUMEN and experience working in tax compliance with a large corporation or Big Four accounting firm preferred

    • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including strong communication and project management skills. A team player with "can do" drive to deliver results

    • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

    • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations

    What extra ingredients you will bring:

    • Participate in the outsourcing engagement in accurate preparation of supporting information and review for forms 5471, 8858, and 8865, as well as preparing forms 1042. Assist in preparation of computations for earnings and profits, Subpart F income, and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income ("GILTI")

    • Assist in performing calculations necessary to complete the U.S. federal tax returns and quarterly tax provisions; Prepare supporting data and work papers as documentation of filing positions and assist in responding to queries from auditors or other external parties

    • Assist in project planning, including calculating the impact of proposed legislation to Mondelez

    • Collaborate with the Federal, State, Transfer Pricing, and Tax Accounting Functions

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree is required (preferably in Accounting)

    • 2 or more years of international tax experience is preferred or federal tax experience would be considered as well

    • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or publicly traded multinational corporation is preferred

    • Extremely systems savvy in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online tax research tools (CCH, BNA, and/or RIA)
